🚀 WE ARE HIRING! | VAS O&M Engineer
At ZTE Bolivia, we are looking for a VAS O&M Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of Value-Added Services (VAS) platforms and telecommunications infrastructure in La Paz, Bolivia.
If you have a background in telecommunications, electronics, or systems engineering, and are interested in service operations, server maintenance, and telecommunications technologies, this opportunity could be for you!
💼 Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and maintain VAS platforms and services, including USSD, SMSC, Voucher Center, PPS, and IVR.
– Perform preventive and corrective hardware maintenance, including servers, cables, disks, and memory components.
– Support site installation, site supervision, troubleshooting, documentation, and site acceptance activities.
– Contribute to reliable service operations and effective technical problem-solving.
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
– At least 1 year of experience in data networks (Cisco).
– Knowledge of Linux, database programs, and Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure).
– Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
– Knowledge of GSM networks, VoLTE, and OCS/BSS systems.
– Conversational English.
– Availability to travel.
– Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
– Cisco CCNA (200-301) and AWS or Azure Cloud certifications are desirable.
